I'm Marcus Malouf, a sophomore at Banks High School in Banks, Oregon. I have been looking in to colleges and a great school that I look at is the University of California Berkeley, I have been a huge sports fan of them since I was 10, and now I have been to some football games and really love the campus and the people, and the area. I had a 3.57 GPA Freshman year and realized that that is not good enough, knowing Berkeley is a GREAT school. I have set many goals for myself and will be shooting for a 3.8 or better GPA to finish high school the last 3 years, i'm also taking honors english, 2 other AP classes, 4 years of math, science, and history, and 5 years of spanish. My school is based on a 4.0 scale. I also play on the basketball and baseball team and will through high school. I have 40 hours of volunteer work already and am trying SO hard to get accepted to Berkeley. I am also shooting for a 1900-2000 on my SAT. I know this is a lot to ask, but do you think I could get accepted to Berkeley. I am starting to feel like I need to be accepted or I will let myself down and I will be very sad too, I dont know why, can you please give me tips????...Im also looking at Arizona State, Indiana university, Illinois university, oregon state, penn state, and Northwestern!!!... read more
